        "en": "By those [angels] lined up in rows"

        "en": "Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises"

        "en": "Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars"

        "ar": "لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ وَيُقۡذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٖ",
        "en": "[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side"

        "en": "Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment"

        "ar": "إِلَّا مَنۡ خَطِفَ ٱلۡخَطۡفَةَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٞ ثَاقِبٞ",
        "en": "Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]"

        "ar": "فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَهُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَم مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآۚ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٖ لَّازِبِۭ",
        "en": "Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], \"Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?\" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay"

        "ar": "بَلۡ عَجِبۡتَ وَيَسۡخَرُونَ",
        "en": "But you wonder, while they mock"

        "ar": "وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ لَا يَذۡكُرُونَ",
        "en": "And when they are reminded, they remember not"

        "ar": "وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يَسۡتَسۡخِرُونَ",
        "en": "And when they see a sign, they ridicule"

        "ar": "وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٌ",
        "en": "And say, \"This is not but obvious magic"

        "ar": "أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ",
        "en": "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected"

        "ar": "أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ",

        "ar": "قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ",
        "en": "Say, \"Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible"

        "ar": "فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَإِذَا هُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ",

        "ar": "وَقَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ",

        "ar": "هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ",
        "en": "[They will be told], \"This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny"

        "ar": "۞ٱحۡشُرُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ وَأَزۡوَٰجَهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ",
        "en": "[The angels will be ordered], \"Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship"
      },

        "ar": "مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهۡدُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ",
        "en": "Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire"

        "ar": "وَقِفُوهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسۡـُٔولُونَ",
        "en": "And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned"

        "ar": "مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ",
        "en": "[They will be asked], \"What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other"

      "text": {
        "ar": "بَلۡ هُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ مُسۡتَسۡلِمُونَ",
        "en": "But they, that Day, are in surrender"

      "text": {
        "ar": "وَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ",
        "en": "And they will approach one another blaming each other"

        "ar": "قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَأۡتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ",
        "en": "They will say, \"Indeed, you used to come at us from the right"
      },

        "ar": "قَالُواْ بَل لَّمۡ تَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ",
        "en": "The oppressors will say, \"Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers"

        "ar": "وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيۡكُم مِّن سُلۡطَٰنِۭۖ بَلۡ كُنتُمۡ قَوۡمٗا طَٰغِينَ",
        "en": "And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people"
      },

        "ar": "فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡنَا قَوۡلُ رَبِّنَآۖ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ",
        "en": "So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]"
      },

        "ar": "فَأَغۡوَيۡنَٰكُمۡ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ",
        "en": "And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators"

        "ar": "فَإِنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُشۡتَرِكُونَ",

        "ar": "إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ",

        "ar": "إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوٓاْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ",
        "en": "Indeed they, when it was said to them, \"There is no deity but Allah,\" were arrogant"
      },

        "ar": "وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓاْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٖ مَّجۡنُونِۭ",
        "en": "And were saying, \"Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet"
      },

      "text": {
        "ar": "بَلۡ جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ",
        "en": "Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers"
      },

        "ar": "إِنَّكُمۡ لَذَآئِقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَلِيمِ",
        "en": "Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment"

        "ar": "وَمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ",
        "en": "And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do"

        "ar": "إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ",

      "text": {
        "ar": "أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ رِزۡقٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ",
        "en": "Those will have a provision determined"

      "text": {
        "ar": "فَوَٰكِهُ وَهُم مُّكۡرَمُونَ",
        "en": "Fruits; and they will be honored"

        "ar": "فِي جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ",
        "en": "In gardens of pleasure"

        "ar": "عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ",
        "en": "On thrones facing one another"
      },

      "text": {
        "ar": "يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِكَأۡسٖ مِّن مَّعِينِۭ",
        "en": "There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring"

        "ar": "بَيۡضَآءَ لَذَّةٖ لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ",
        "en": "White and delicious to the drinkers"

      "text": {
        "ar": "لَا فِيهَا غَوۡلٞ وَلَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا يُنزَفُونَ",
        "en": "No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated"

      "text": {
        "ar": "وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ عِينٞ",
        "en": "And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes"
      },

        "ar": "كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيۡضٞ مَّكۡنُونٞ",
        "en": "As if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected"

      "text": {
        "ar": "فَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ",
        "en": "And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other"

        "ar": "قَالَ قَآئِلٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٞ",
        "en": "A speaker among them will say, \"Indeed, I had a companion [on earth]"

        "ar": "يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُصَدِّقِينَ",

        "ar": "أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ",
        "en": "That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed"

        "ar": "فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِي سَوَآءِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ",

        "ar": "قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرۡدِينِ",
        "en": "He will say, \"By Allah, you almost ruined me"

      "text": {
        "ar": "وَلَوۡلَا نِعۡمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَ",
        "en": "If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]"
      },

        "ar": "أَفَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ",
        "en": "Then, are we not to die"

        "ar": "إِلَّا مَوۡتَتَنَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ",

        "ar": "إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ",

        "ar": "إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰهَا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلظَّـٰلِمِينَ",

        "ar": "إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٞ تَخۡرُجُ فِيٓ أَصۡلِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ",
        "en": "Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire"

        "ar": "طَلۡعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ",
        "en": "Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils"

      "text": {
        "ar": "فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَأٓكِلُونَ مِنۡهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡبُطُونَ",
        "en": "And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies"
      },

        "ar": "ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا لَشَوۡبٗا مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖ",

        "ar": "ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرۡجِعَهُمۡ لَإِلَى ٱلۡجَحِيمِ",

        "ar": "فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ",

        "ar": "إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ",

        "ar": "وَلَقَدۡ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٞ فَلَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمُجِيبُونَ",
        "en": "And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders"
      },

        "ar": "وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ",
        "en": "And We saved him and his family from the great affliction"

        "ar": "وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ",
        "en": "And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]"

        "ar": "وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ",

      "text": {
        "ar": "قَالُواْ ٱبۡنُواْ لَهُۥ بُنۡيَٰنٗا فَأَلۡقُوهُ فِي ٱلۡجَحِيمِ",
        "en": "They said, \"Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire"
      },

        "ar": "فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعۡيَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَيَّ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰ فِي ٱلۡمَنَامِ أَنِّيٓ أَذۡبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرۡ مَاذَا تَرَىٰۚ قَالَ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفۡعَلۡ مَا تُؤۡمَرُۖ سَتَجِدُنِيٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ",
        "en": "And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, \"O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think.\" He said, \"O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast"

        "en": "And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself"

        "ar": "وَلَقَدۡ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ",

        "en": "So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], \"Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons"
